Machine Planet
Planet Proto's internal CNC machine shop provides high-precision, excellent finish parts to our customers. The Machine Planet shop features an experienced staff of highly competent machinists. The Machine Planet utilizes Haas Machining Centers. The Planet has both normal spindle speed machines and high speed spindle capability for precision machining aluminums, brasses, softer alloys and many plastics.

Quality
The finish on the parts from the Planet can be incredible if that’s the desired result. Our high-speed milling centers can cut into softer plastics and deliver a smooth injection molded-like finish. The high-speed machines rely on programmers who know how to get the most out of the machines and deliver parts that exceed our customers’ expectations.

Planet Proto is a leading source of rapid prototyped solutions and cast resin parts large and small. Machine Planet parts are the same high quality. The nature of machining components, setting up the machines and running the parts does not allow us to offer anything but the most simple geometry parts inside a 2 to 4 day turnaround. Scheduling also depends on machine availability.

Machine Planet parts are manually quoted by a 20+ year veteran machinist. The quotes will be delivered by email within 48 hours. Bed sizes include: 40 x 20 x 25" and 50" x 20"x 25". Please specify the materials and also upload support mechanical documentation. Special finished may be available. Plating can also be provided.
